About Me
To start off my name is Hillary Hamlin and I was born in Mobile, Alabama on June 30, 1991. My life has not been an easy road by no means we were raised in Semmes, Alabama and a couple years later after my mom divorced we moved to Midtown. I have three amazing sisters and they mean the absolute world to me. I started working at the age of fourteen at our family owned restraunt called the Dew Drop Inn and I love every minute of it. My parents raised us to know if we wanted something nice we had to work hard to get it and I finally realized that is one of the keys to a successful person.
I recently started attending South Alabama last year after two years at Bishop State Community college. I always dreamed of been a school teacher when I was younger and used to play all the time with my friends. But when I began high schools I knew I had to turn my dreams into a reality. I love children and can't wait to accomplish my long life dream. Children are my passion and I love spending every bit of my time with them teaching them and been a guidance towards them to follow the right road in life.
Randy Pausch
The video on Randy Pausch he explains on how to set goals and priorities. I learned from this video its best to ask yourself whenever you get down and feel like giving up to say to yourself "why" are you doing this and what is the goal and what will it accomplish and also I learned experience comes from time and there is no short cut on learning. He also teaches us about planning and keeping up with a do-to list. It is best to start with the hardest thing instead of putting it off till later or doing the easiest thing first. Most of all I learned to manage time wisely and never procrastinating and put it off for another day.
I think your post was very interesting. I like the fact that you enjoy working with kids. In your paragraph on Randy Paush, It is clear what you learned. I see that you learned about time management and planning. You have your headers bold but there is no line break in between your paragraphs. I also think you should increase your font size because your punctuation are hard to see. My only problem with the post is that some of your sentences seem real long.I think you should break them up or use more commas. Overall great job keep up the good work.
